Salary: Grade 2, £11,387.90 – £11,568.62 per annum
Hours: 18.75 hours per week, term time plus 5 TED days, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 12:15pm
Contract: Fixed term to 31st August 2027

We are seeking to appoint a committed and experienced classroom teaching assistant to work in our Year 5/6 class in the first instance. The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated small school family with a Christian ethos and will support the ethos of the school. They will work collaboratively with the class teacher in their responsibility for the development and education of children, utilising detailed knowledge and specialist skills.
Responsibilities- Complement the professional work of colleagues under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement agreed programmes with individuals or groups.
- Confidently cover for the class teacher for occasional, short periods.
- Help pupils make strong progress.
- Be a highly effective and flexible team member.
- Promote inclusivity, while offering a nurturing approach.
