Early Years Phase Lead – Early Years Foundation Stage Lead

Location: Worcester, England, United Kingdom

Status: Full-time, 5 days per week + INSET days

Salary: £32,916 – £45,352 per annum (TLR2)

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for the Early Years team, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Model outstanding practice and mentor colleagues to develop their skills and confidence
  • Lead curriculum planning and innovation, ensuring a rich, engaging, and inclusive learning experience for all children
  • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, using data to inform improvement strategies
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders, parents, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for every child
  • Champion early years pedagogy and contribute to whole-school development priorities
  • Support the Catholic ethos of our school
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience in Early Years education
  • Proven track record of impactful leadership within an EYFS setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Visionary leader passionate about inspiring young learners and empowering staff
