An inclusive and ambitious secondary school in Central Worcester is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of English to join their strong humanities faculty from April 2026. This is a permanent role and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. The school prides itself on its inclusive approach, high expectations, and vibrant learning environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, mark and assess pupils’ work in line with departmental policy
- Support students with varying abilities and needs
- Contribute to whole-school literacy initiatives
- Participate in parents evenings and CPD opportunities
- QTS and a degree in English or related subject
- Excellent subject knowledge and a creative teaching approach
- Experience or willingness to teach GCSE English Language and Literature
- A team-oriented and reflective attitude
