We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing First School community. This is a key role for someone who loves working with young children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and excels when leading learning.
As our HLTA, you will:
- Confidently cover whole‑class lessons across EYFS and KS2 & KS3
- Lead and support our team of Teaching Assistants
, modelling excellent practice - Deliver and help co‑ordinate high‑quality interventions that help pupils make strong progress
- Build warm, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Contribute to our culture of Kindness, Aspiration, and Self‑Belief
We are looking for someone who:
- Has HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Is calm, organised, and able to think on their feet
- Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love of early learning
- Can maintain high expectations while nurturing every child’s confidence
- Enjoys being part of a supportive, forward‑thinking team

Hours:
26 hours per week, Term Term plus TED Days
Salary: TA4, Points 18 - 22, (£31,537 - £33,699 per annum) - Actual Salary - £19,465 - £21,254 pa
