Food Technology Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Worcester on a full‑time long‑term role which is due to start in September. For the right candidate, an earlier start date during the Summer term may also be considered.

• Deliver engaging Food & Nutrition lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Prepare students for GCSE Food & Nutrition examinations
• Plan and deliver practical and theory‑based lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement within the classroom
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with departmental staff and the wider school team

• Food & Nutrition Teacher, Food Technology Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Supply Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching GCSE Food & Nutrition
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
• Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory lessons
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passion for delivering high‑quality teaching and learning
• Commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential
