Overview
We are partnering with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Worcester seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Supporting students in the classroom to enhance learning and engagement.
- Working alongside teaching staff to deliver effective learning support.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
- Assisting with classroom management and student behaviour.
- Supervising students during lessons, break times, and other school activities as needed.
- Supporting students with additional learning needs.
- Contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Previous experience working within a school environment.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom support and student supervision skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to work.
