Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Pre‑School Lunchtime Supervisor.

Required:

September 2026

Salary:
Grade 2, SCP 3 (£24,796.00) FTE AYR – to be pro rata.

Working hours:

5 days, 2.5 hours per week, 39 weeks (TTO + Training Days).

Responsibilities
  • Support lunchtime duties for preschool children, ensuring a stimulating and learning experience.
  • Work Monday to Friday 11:45am – 12:15pm, and other agreed times.
  • Plan, supervise and facilitate activities during lunchtime to promote a safe and friendly environment.
  • Maintain good organisational skills, work independently and as part of a team, and uphold professional standards.
  • Promote good practice in a professional manner and support the day‑to‑day lunchtime activities.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing first‑class childcare.
  • Experience in childcare or preschool settings preferred.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work under own initiative.
  • Ability to promote good practice professionally.
Other Information

Position is fixed‑term to cover maternity leave.
