Distinction Education is delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic Teaching Assistant opportunity at a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Worcester.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join the Year 1 team from September. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, covering a maternity leave for the full academic year.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils in Year 1, helping to deliver engaging lessons and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. You will provide classroom support, work with small groups and individual pupils, and play an important role in helping children develop both academically and socially.
The school is rated Good by Ofsted and has built a strong reputation for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership team and commitment to providing an excellent learning environment for both pupils and staff. What You ll Need- Previous experience working within a primary school is desirable.
- A genuine passion for supporting children s learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
