English Teacher

Flourish Education are seeking an experienced English Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Worcester. The school is dedicated to providing students with a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment and has high expectations for behaviour, achievement and student development.

We are working closely with our partnership school to find a passionate English Teacher who can deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will support students in developing their literacy, analytical and communication skills, while helping them prepare for their GCSE examinations.

The role is available to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year.

• Plan and deliver English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE English examinations.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student development.
• Develop students' literacy, reading and communication skills.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour within the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with the English Department and wider school team.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Good understanding of the National Curriculum and GCSE English specifications.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A genuine commitment to supporting the education and development of young people.
