Cover Supervisor

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work at a Secondary School in Worcester

Our partner school requires an experienced Cover Supervisor to provide classroom supervision and support when teachers are absent. The successful candidate will oversee pre-planned lessons, encourage students to complete their work and ensure that good behaviour is maintained throughout each lesson.

This role is due to start in September and last until the end of the academic year
.

• Supervising classes of secondary-aged students.
• Overseeing pre-planned lessons and ensuring work is completed.
• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4
  .
• Keeping pupils focused and on task.
• Managing low-level disruption and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Collecting completed work and returning it to the relevant teacher.
• Providing feedback on student progress, behaviour and any incidents.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

• Degree or similar qualification.
• Previous experience working with secondary school students.
• Experience with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Confident classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with young people.

• £100–£120 per day
  , equating to £19,500–£23,400 per annum, based on experience.
• Holiday Pay –
  12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.

This Cover Supervisor position is located in Worcester and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Malvern, Pershore, Kidderminster and surrounding areas
