This is a consultative, project-led sales role managing complex equipment solutions typically valued up to and exceeding £3M.

Engineering Sales Manager

£40,000 Basic + £15K-£25K Bonus + £5K Car Allowance + 33 Days Holiday + Pension

West Midlands

• As Engineering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a defined territory across the UK and Europe. You will work closely with a range of clients and internal engineering teams, identifying opportunities, understanding technical requirements, and delivering tailored equipment solutions.
• Generating new business and developing existing accounts
• Visiting customers to understand technical requirements
• Preparing detailed quotations and proposals
• Managing negotiations and closing capital equipment sales
• Acting as the main technical and commercial contact for customers
• Working collaboratively with internal engineering teams
• Monitoring orders through to delivery
• Maintaining strong after-sales relationships

• Formal Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
• Proven experience in capital equipment sales
• Strong project management capability
• Experience managing a territory
• Consultative selling approach
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Comfortable managing long sales cycles
