Process Engineer

Due to company success and growth, a precision manufacturing client of ours has a new role within the engineering department for a Process Engineer to join them on a full‑time, permanent basis.

Working hours:

7.30 am – 4.00 pm Monday–Thursday & 7.30 am – 1.30 pm Friday.

Location:

Worcester. Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Ideal skills and experience requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Methods Engineer role
  • Experience working within a regulated precision manufacturing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Department Manager and Supervisors to control and improve processes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure business compliance with current internal and external control requirements
  • Develop internal and external control requirements and monitoring systems
  • Identify loss of control and implement process rectification and stabilisation of production processes
  • Participate in Materials Review Board meetings
  • Provide cross‑functional process control support
  • Contribute significantly to Process Change control
  • Implement change programmes and related paperwork
  • Record and document data
  • Analyse data (and pursue electronic improvements)
  • Improve inspection recording and reporting
  • Develop and run process improvement initiatives
  • Attend and actively participate in Process Improvement Meetings (PIMS) and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
