Technical Desk Spares Engineer

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.

The role of Technical Desk Spares Engineer will require the successful applicant to:

• Assist engineers to find part numbers from machine manuals
• Assist engineers to identify spindles for all machines
• Raise PIDBs to all Mazak factories to assist with parts delivery information
• Raise quotations for customers
• Raise orders from customer order confirmation
• Liaise with suppliers for delivery information and availability of parts

• Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
• Team player who can work to deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work
• Have a positive attitude and be able to work under own initiative when required
• Good knowledge of Mazak products
• Computer literate

• Experience / ability to use various computer systems
