Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, control, and improve ceramic shell manufacturing processes.

  • Analyse process data and implement corrective actions to maintain stability.
  • Lead root cause investigations and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and technique cards.
  • Support new product introduction and process validation activities.
  • Manage improvement projects from concept through implementation.

  • Support operator training, audits, and process compliance activities.
  • Promote safe working practices and support quality initiatives.

About You

  • Significant experience within ceramic shell manufacturing or similar manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of shell room operations, refractory materials, binders, slurry control, pH, SG, and gel testing.
  • Skilled in process improvement, root cause analysis, and statistical problem-solving.
  • Experience using quality and continuous improvement tools, ideally Six Sigma and Minitab.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of wax, autoclave, firing, and casting processes.
  • Experience with Kawasaki robot programming.
