Are you a Structural Design Engineer looking to make a real impact in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector? We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative manufacturing company in Worcester that designs and delivers cutting-edge solutions supporting the transition to a more sustainable future.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team, where you'll be responsible for developing robust structural designs, contributing to new product development, and supporting projects from concept through to manufacture. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions that help drive the renewable energy industry forward.

The Role:

Working in the design team on a range of Design projects, the company designs systems for the renewables sector.
Taking a lead on R&D projects.
Designing both parts and full systems.
FEA - stress testing.
Creating BOMs.
Working closely with the sales team, enabling quotations to be available in a timely manner and presented to customers.
Modifying existing products across the range, to ensure efficiency is maintained and they stay ahead of the competition.

What we are looking for:

Experience with Solidworks or Inventor - as well as AutoCAD 2d.

Experience with in Structural Design.
Experience in the Solar/Renewables sector - desirable.
Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
