As General Manager of Siemens Energy's Materials Solutions Additive Manufacturing business, you will lead one of the UK's most advanced manufacturing operations, delivering innovative components that support the future of energy.

With full responsibility for business performance, you will lead multidisciplinary teams across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS while driving growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Working closely with global stakeholders, you will play a critical role in qualifying and scaling additive manufacturing technologies into stable, high-quality serial production.

This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic business management with hands‑on operational leadership, helping shape the future of additive manufacturing within Siemens Energy.

• Lead the overall performance of the Materials Solutions business, with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and profitability.
• Drive the qualification, industrialisation, and scaling of additive manufacturing technologies into stable, repeatable serial production environments.
• Develop and execute growth strategies that expand our additive manufacturing capabilities, customer base, and commercial opportunities.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and Siemens Energy stakeholders to strengthen business performance and future opportunities.
• Champion operational excellence through Lean manufacturing, quality leadership, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• Proven leadership experience with full operational and financial (P&L) responsibility within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, gas turbines, power generation, or another highly regulated industry.
• Demonstrated success scaling new technologies, products, or manufacturing processes into industrial production environments.
• Strong financial, commercial, and operational acumen, with experience managing complex business performance metrics.
• A track record of developing high-performing teams and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

The Materials Solutions business specialises in advanced manufacturing technologies, delivering innovative additive manufacturing solutions for Siemens Energy and external customers. Combining engineering expertise, manufacturing excellence, and cutting‑edge technology, the team develops and produces high-quality components for critical applications across the energy sector. As the business continues to grow, Materials Solutions plays a key role in advancing manufacturing capability and supporting the future of sustainable energy.
