A well-established law firm is looking to appoint a Legal Cashier / Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with legal finance experience, or for an experienced Accounts Assistant from another regulated environment (insurance, financial services, professional services etc.) who is confident handling client money under strict compliance. The firm specialises in helping individuals and families through some of life’s most sensitive moments, so your work will directly support people who rely on the practice for guidance and reassurance.

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including client money
• Managing accounts payable and supplier payments
• Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Supporting the wider team with reporting and administrative finance tasks
• Ensuring compliance with legal accounting regulations (Solicitors Accounts Rules)

• Experience in legal cashiering or accounts assistance within a regulated environment
• Understanding of client money handling and compliance requirements
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

• 25 days’ holiday (with some reserved around Christmas) plus bank holidays
• Office-based role in Worcester
