SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a dynamic business in Worcester area who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

A well established business within an exciting sector, this role is new due to growth of the business both in the UK and internationally, one where you will join a business on the next stage of their steep growth trajectory.

We are seeking a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with strong people skills and people management experience. This role will supervise a team of 8, reporting to the FD.

Working alongside the global finance manager, this role will take responsibility for financial operations of the UK and EU.

Main duties:

Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts
Review of individual company management accounts
Assist the FD with monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis
Supervision of VAT and overseas sales tax returns
Full involvement in the improvement of internal processes and efficiencies

Extra requirements
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build and maintain effective relationships with non-finance stakeholders

Experience of managing and developing finance teams

Strong Excel spreadsheet skills and good working knowledge of accounting software

Excellent benefits package and a salary up to £55,000

The role will offer hybrid working after the probationary period (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
