We are seeking an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and varied environment, alongside clinical teams and infection control, to ensure the cleanliness of the Trust's estate in accordance with national standards and the Trust's strategic cleaning plan.

- Lead a small team to deliver professional NHS housekeeping services in accordance with schedules and procedures.
- Contribute to processes to ensure standards are achieved.
- Maintain staff records, ensuring rosters meet service needs.
- Be involved in staff induction, training and complete staff development reviews.
- Report equipment/environment defects and manage/replenish housekeeping related stock.
- Work alongside clinical teams and infection control to maintain cleanliness of the Trust's estate.

Person Specification Skills & Abilities- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.
- Understanding that the Trust will not provide sponsorship to work for this role.
- Non‑specified, but relevant qualification and/or practical experience relevant to the role.
- Foundation Food Hygiene or Basic Health and Safety.
- NVQ level 1 in Cleaning.
- Previous experience of cleaning in an employed capacity.
- Previous experience of cleaning in a clinical environment.
