We are seeking an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and varied environment, alongside clinical teams and infection control, to ensure the cleanliness of the Trust's estate in accordance with national standards and the Trust's strategic cleaning plan.

• Lead a small team to deliver professional NHS housekeeping services in accordance with schedules and procedures.
• Contribute to processes to ensure standards are achieved.
• Maintain staff records, ensuring rosters meet service needs.
• Be involved in staff induction, training and complete staff development reviews.
• Report equipment/environment defects and manage/replenish housekeeping related stock.
• Work alongside clinical teams and infection control to maintain cleanliness of the Trust's estate.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.

• Understanding that the Trust will not provide sponsorship to work for this role.

• Non‑specified, but relevant qualification and/or practical experience relevant to the role.
• Foundation Food Hygiene or Basic Health and Safety.
• NVQ level 1 in Cleaning.

• Previous experience of cleaning in an employed capacity.
• Previous experience of cleaning in a clinical environment.
