We are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant, who can confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit and you must hold a full UK driving licence. You will also need to be computer literate and be able to confidently work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively. You will be working in and around Southampton, however, our region covers Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport, Waterlooville and Isle of Wight areas and there will be a requirement to cover anywhere within this territory, when required.

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Home Visits Optical Assistant.
These include:
Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels You must hold a full UK driving licence and be a confident driver Computer literate and confident using laptop/tablet and mobile phone Find out more If you've got all these skills, we'd love for you to apply, but there's also some desirable experience that could set you apart from the competition if you have it.
