‘Extraordinary Days, Every Day’

At Care Tech, we are committed to delivering Extraordinary Days, Every Day through high-quality, person-centred care. Our focus is on empowering independence, building confidence and life skills, and supporting people to live fulfilling lives in environments that best suit their needs.

We are recruiting a Multi-Service Supported Living Service Lead to join Care Tech, working closely with the Registered Manager to support high-quality, person-centred services.

About the Services –

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Lead to support the Registered Manager in overseeing a growing portfolio of supported living services across the Worcestershire area.

Worcester DCA currently supports people across three multi-service settings:

• Gwen Dean House, Worcester – a supported living scheme for up to eight people, primarily supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities.

• Lea Croft, Redditch - a two-person service supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

• A new five-person supported living service in Bromsgrove,  opening in September, which will support people with more complex needs, including mental health needs, behaviours of concern, self-harm risks and associated risk-management requirements.

As the new service becomes fully operational, the Worcester DCA portfolio will support up to approximately 15 people.

The Service Lead will form an important part of the management structure:
Registered Manager → Service Lead → Team Leaders → Support Workers. The post holder will work closely with the Registered Manager and will provide direct operational oversight, guidance and support to Team Leaders across the services.

The role includes coordinating day-to-day service delivery, maintaining visible management oversight, monitoring governance and compliance, ensuring support plans and risk assessments remain current, overseeing staff supervision and development, monitoring training and competency, supporting rota and staffing arrangements, reviewing incidents and safeguarding actions, completing quality audits, supporting recruitment and induction, and helping to safely mobilise new services.

We are looking for someone who can maintain oversight across multiple services, support and develop Team Leaders, identify and address emerging risks, and help ensure consistently high standards of person-centred care.

Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours of concern is highly desirable. Experience in a senior, supervisory or multi-site role would be particularly beneficial.
