A.V Band Funeral Directors, Worcester Job Type: Casual Salary: £13.40 per hour  on-call payments We're looking for compassionate individuals to join our team on a casual basis, supporting families during funeral services and behind the scenes. It's flexible work you can build around other commitments. Our Mission:

The Role You'll be part of a team delivering every service with dignity and respect - ideal if you're looking to work occasionally, especially during peak periods or when extra ceremonial support is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting at funeral services: bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mourners. Driving and operating specialist vehicles such as hearses and limousines. Representing Dignity Funeral Directors with professionalism and empathy. Providing respectful, discreet support to families on the day. Maintaining ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct and service delivery. About You Full UK Driving Licence (essential). Compassionate, empathetic and professional. Understands the importance of presentation and discretion.

Physically capable of manual handling, including lifting and carrying. Reliable, punctual and flexible, including short-notice availability. Comfortable with direct contact with the deceased. No previous experience is required - full training and uniform provided.
