Corporate Solicitor

Overview

We’re representing a leading UK law firm that is seeking to add an experienced Corporate Solicitor to its ranks. This is not your typical corporate role; it offers the chance to move beyond pure transactional work and step into a space where you’ll combine your deal experience with advisory, governance and risk management expertise
.

The team advises on due diligence, investigations, compliance, governance and secretarial matters behind the deal. You’ll work directly with the Head of Team, take a lead role on complex projects, and mentor junior lawyers. Your days will be varied: one week conducting in-depth due diligence for a cross-border transaction, the next advising boards on governance structures or compliance risks. It’s a role for someone who thrives on detail but also sees the bigger commercial picture.

• 4–8 years PQE in corporate law (M&A background essential).
• An eye for detail and a natural curiosity, you enjoy unpicking the fine print to uncover risks.
• Strong drafting and advisory skills.
• Someone who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Salary: £75,000–£90,000 (DOE) and will be primarily office-based in Worcester (4–5 days per week).
