This role is fully office-based and offers the opportunity to work within a busy and well-established Residential Conveyancing department handling matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions. About the Role As a Legal Secretary within our Residential Conveyancing team, your responsibilities will include:
Providing administrative and secretarial support to solicitors and conveyancing fee earners Preparing, formatting and typing legal documents, correspondence and reports Using the firm's case management system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records Opening, maintaining and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors Managing diaries, appointments, meetings and email communications Maintaining organised electronic filing systems and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant Supporting the progression of property transactions through effective administration and document management Assisting with research and information gathering as required Prioritising workloads effectively to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment About You We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy legal environment and takes pride in producing accurate, professional work.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Residential Conveyancing department Excellent typing and document production skills with strong attention to detail Familiarity with legal terminology and conveyancing processes Strong organisational and administrative skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel Experience using legal case management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy A professional, client-focused approach The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Why Join NBB Waldrons?
