We’re looking for a Cleaning Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Contract: Permanent

Type: Full‑time

Hours: 48 per week

Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, 12 hours per day

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Wychavon Council, Oat Street, Worcester, Worcestershire, England, WR11 4PJ. Mobile driving to Pershore, Droitwich, Evesham & Broadway. Applicants within postcodes WR4, WR5, WR7, WR9, WR10, WR11 will be considered.

• Open, close and clean Wychavon district council’s public toilets.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
• Clean your designated site three times per day to a high standard.

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self‑driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanor.
• Driving licence is required and a company van will be provided on shift.
