Customer Service & Sales Office Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

The Client

A UK company that is proud to manufacture all products at their Worcestershire based site using only locally sourced materials for their production process, when necessary to outsource they use trusted local partners. They are looking to appoint a new Customer Service and Sales Office Manager to join their sales division after enjoying continued growth.

The Role

As Customer Service Manager you will lead and manage the customer service department by implementing leading customer service processes and by encouraging the promotion of the company branding. This role requires a person with drive and who is commercially aware and able to increase sales opportunities by way of leading the team in upselling and introducing sales campaigns whilst supporting the external sales team.

You will be responsible for ensuring customer orders and quotations are dealt with and processed by the team, resolving any incoming complaints, maintaining a high level of service records and database whilst supporting the planning and delivery of all orders. As Sales Office Manager you will manage a team against set and agreed KPI’s and keep a positive and upbeat sales office at all times by employee engagement and training.

The Candidate

The successful applicant for the role of Customer Service Manager will have proven working experience in a similar role within Customer Service / Sales Office Management along with a proven track record in changing and leading a sales office to a very high standard. You will need to be capable of managing a day to day operation of online trading and be service focused and results driven.

You will be able to manage your work load, the office work load and aid your staff in successfully managing their workflow and priorities to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt customer responses. This role will include pricing and margin control, advance trouble shooting, multi-tasking, analysing data, and commercial reporting. You will be proficient in Microsoft and IT systems and be capable of maintaining a CRM.

Your personality will be positive, upbeat, friendly yet assertive and highly communicative. This is a Monday to Friday day role yet you will be expected to offer flexible working hours should the need arise.
