We are working with a growing Worcestershire-based business to recruit an Operations Manager to take responsibility for day-to-day operations, project delivery and resource planning across a busy and varied environment.
This is a key role within the business, working closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, resources are well managed and customers receive a high level of service.
We are looking for someone who has experience within construction, engineering, surveying, infrastructure, utilities, inspection, technical services or a similar sector.
The Role- Overseeing day-to-day operational activity and project delivery
- Planning and allocating people, equipment and resources
- Coordinating field-based teams and managing changing priorities
- Monitoring project progress, timescales and delivery
- Managing customer expectations and resolving operational issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
- Supporting operational planning and workflow improvements
- Managing operational risks and ensuring procedures are followed
- Working closely with senior management on business priorities
- Leading and supporting the operational team as the business continues to grow
- Proven experience managing operations, projects or field-based teams
- Strong planning, scheduling and resource management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- A practical and commercially aware approach
- The ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
- Strong IT and systems skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership
- £40,000 £ 60,000, depending on experience
