Source Co are currently hiring for an established engineering and manufacturing business – currently hiring for an experienced Machinist Fitter to join its production team. This is a hands on role within a well organised workshop environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in engineering and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating conventional machinery including lathes, vertical and horizontal borers, and drilling machines

* Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications

* Supporting general fitting and workshop activities as required

* Maintaining high standards of health & safety and workmanship

* Working collaboratively within an established production team

Essentials

* Proven experience utilising manual machinery

* Confident using manual machinery (lathes, borers, drills, etc.)

* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

* Strong attention to detail and quality

* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

* Comfortable working as part of a team

Desirables

* Engineering qualifications or time served apprenticeship

* Experience working in a regulated or quality driven environment

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Flexible approach to work and willingness to support production needs
