About The Job

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market‑leading machine tool manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for many years. • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and job specifications.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling to meet job requirements.
• Perform quality checks and ensure all parts meet required tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area in line with 5S standards.
• Actively participate in Kaizen activities, contributing to continuous improvement of processes, safety, and productivity.
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Complete production documentation accurately.

• Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery (required).
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.

• Experience with JP, Bystronic, or similar machinery.
• Basic programming knowledge (CNC press brake).
• Forklift licence or overhead crane experience (advantage).

• Working hours are rotating shifts: 05:30 am – 01:30 pm Monday to Friday, then PM Shift 02:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and Friday 02:00 pm – 08:00 pm.
