About The Job

The Company Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently,
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and job specifications,
• Select, install, and adjust tooling to meet job requirements,
• Perform quality checks and ensure all parts meet required tolerances,
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed,
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area in line with 5S standards in Order,
• Actively participate in Kaizen activities, contributing to continuous improvement of processes, safety, and productivity,
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams,
• Complete production documentation accurately.

• Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery (required),
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes,
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills,
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.

• Experience with JP, Bystronic, or similar machinery,
• Basic programming knowledge (CNC press brake),
• Forklift licence or overhead crane experience (advantage).

• Working hours are rotating shifts : 05:30am : 1:30pm Monday to Friday and then onto the PM Shift : 2:00pm : 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday is 2pm : 8:00pm.
