CNC Grinder - Night Shift

The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak and are seeking a Production Operative within the Machining Department.

• Setting & Operating Studer CNC Grinders.
• Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
• Understand CNC controls & be able to safely & reliably operate CNC grinders.
• Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules.
• Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.

• Have a solid understanding of operating CNC controlled grinders.
• Can demonstrate & have experience of safely using CNC controls.
• Have a can-do attitude.
• Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

• Understand & improve programs safely.
• Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC etc.

• Working hours Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am.
• Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
