Marketing Graduate (24 month FTC)

The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak and are seeking a Marketing Graduate (24 month FTC)

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and CRM, you will gain a thorough understanding of, and invaluable experience in, our European promotional activities, including exhibitions, open houses, social media, corporate branding, digital marketing, video production, sales support, CRM and more.

As part of your training, we will support you in furthering your qualifications through the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), if desired.

• A thorough understanding of our global, regional and local marketing functions.
• The opportunity to work with, and learn from, a high:performing marketing team made up of experts in their fields.
• Experience using software that supports the marketing function, including Canva, Adobe and Hootsuite.
• Delivering communications plans through press releases, articles, videos, graphics, social media posts and more.
• Creating and distributing internal communications materials.
• Supporting the European Marketing team with administrative and local event tasks.
• Liaising with European team members to understand and support local requirements.
• Supporting other departments across the business with marketing materials.
• Updating our website and supporting digital marketing requirements.

• A flexible and dedicated team player, able to work independently while supporting colleagues.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to deliver work on time.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical, problem:solving and creative skills.

It would suit a hardworking and ambitious graduate who has studied marketing, or a degree subject with significant marketing content, and who would like to develop their knowledge of real:world marketing within a global company and brand leader in its industry.

• Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
