Manchester Job Type: Part-time (2 Saturday waking nights per month, 7pm - 7am) Join our dedicated Community Care team as a Paediatric Nurse in Manchester, providing critical overnight care to a child on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). This role is ideal for someone passionate about paediatric healthcare and eager to make a significant impact in a child's life. Day-to-day of the role:
Provide specialised nursing care to a child on TPN during assigned night shifts. Monitor the child’s condition throughout the night, responding promptly to any needs or emergencies. Administer medications and TPN as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Communicate effectively with family members, ensuring they are informed and reassured about the child’s care. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Minimum of 6 months experience in paediatric nursing. Excellent clinical skills with a deep understanding of paediatric care protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of providing compassionate care. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts. Benefits:
