Registered General Nurse FTC

A 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover post for a Registered General Nurse in Spa Medica's Worcester Hospital cluster, which spans several sites. The work centres on administering medicines safely, caring for patients through diagnostic tests and post-operative care, and handling admissions and discharges on theatre days. It is full-time at 37.5 hours over four of six days, on shifts from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Applicants need a valid NMC PIN and six to twelve months' post-registration experience.

• Administer medicines in line with NMC guidance on safe handling
• Provide all patient care in hospital, including diagnostic tests and post-operative care
• Admit and discharge patients on theatre days
• Keep stock under control, maintaining par levels so items are available
• Protect patient confidentiality under the Data Protection Act and UK GDPR
• Mentor and support colleagues, including new starters

• 6 to 12 months' post-registration experience
