Veterinary Surgeon - Weekend - FTC

Vets Now Worcester are welcoming applications from Out of Hours (OOH) Veterinary Surgeons with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join their team on a weekend-only fixed-term basis. Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency veterinary care, with a nationwide network of out of hours clinics and 24/7 emergency hospitals. As part of Inspiring Vet Care, our teams make a difference to pets and their owners when they need us most.

Out-of-hours doesn’t mean all hours, and the flexibility and support we provide makes balancing life easier for many of our team. If you’re looking to pick up weekend hours or enhance your ECC skills, this role could be ideal. We’re looking for a Vet Surgeon to work 1:4 weekends (Saturday  Sunday ), plus a share of bank holidays, on a fixed term basis.

At Vets Now we recognise that our people are what makes us. That’s why we are continuing to invest in our reward and recognition benefits:

• Private medical insurance
• Seven weeks pro rata annual leave
• Up to 50% discounted staff pet care
• Professional membership fees
• Vets Now For You – reward gateway giving discounts and cashback with 100’s of retailers

Along with being supported in clinic with committed colleagues, our central support teams are here to help too. With dedicated complaint and customer service teams, a weight is taken off your shoulders to concentrate on the cases in front of you.

We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, including those from diverse and minority groups. As a Disability Confident Employer, we encourage candidates with disabilities and health conditions to apply and are committed to providing reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.
