We are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong quality background looking to develop their career within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out inspections of components and finished products in line with quality standards
- Complete first-off, in-process, and final inspections
- Support investigation and resolution of quality issues and non-conformances
- Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation
- Use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product quality
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and health and safety standards
- Assist with supplier and customer quality concerns when required
- Previous experience in a Quality Technician or Quality Inspector role within manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
- Good understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of ISO standards would be advantageous
- Salary of £32,000 per annum
