Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Quality to lead and develop the quality function across a manufacturing business. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving quality standards, supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Experience with in a complex manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive or similar is highly desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities
 
* Develop and implement the company's quality strategy, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
 
* Lead, mentor and develop the Quality team to achieve business objectives
 
* Manage supplier quality performance, including supplier audits, scorecards, non-conformances and corrective actions
 
* Ensure products, processes and materials meet customer, regulatory and internal quality standards
 
* Oversee ISO compliance, quality systems, internal and external audits
 
* Lead root cause investigations using quality tools such as 8D, FMEA and CAPA
 
* Analyse quality KPIs and report on performance to senior management
 
* Work closely with Operations, Technical and Supply Chain teams to improve processes and product quality
 
* Drive customer satisfaction by supporting the resolution of quality issues and implementing preventative measures
Ideal Candidate
 
* Previous experience in a Head of Quality, Quality Manager or Quality Director role within manufacturing
 
* Strong knowledge of supplier quality management and quality systems
 
* Experience managing ISO standards, audits and regulatory compliance
 
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop high-performing teams
 
* Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D and FMEA
 
* A continuous improvement mindset with experience using data and KPIs to drive business performance
 
* Experience with in aerospace, automotive or another highly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous
 
* Six Sigma Black Belt and/or a relevant degree or professional qualification would be beneficial
Working Hours and Benefits
 
* Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
