Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook desserts from scratch using fresh ingredients for multiple lunch exports, after school club and events.
• Use commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ensure food safety for pupils with special diets.
• Undertake additional basic food preparation.
• Serve hot lunches to pupils and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Complete a cleaning rota.
• Pack, deliver and serve food to export sites when required.
• Maintain a high standard of food hygiene and health and safety, ensuring safe practices are followed.
• Attend any training as required.
• Carry out any other duties within the grade as and when required.
