Worcester and Redditch Chefs

Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced chefs to work across Hotels, Care Homes, Nurseries, Golf Clubs & Schools around Birmingham, the Black Country and Worcester.

Key responsibilities include:

* Assisting the chef manager in delivering a high quality and punctual service

* General food preparation

* Previous experience as a chef

* Filling away deliveries

* Washing utensils and dishes

* Must be able to run a lone section of the kitchen

* Great communication and team work skills

* Cook all food to excellent quality

* Storing and sorting ingredients properly.

* Passion for food

* Ability to work under pressure

* Ensuring food prep areas are clean in line with health and safety and food hygiene procedures.

Skills required:

* Food hygiene level 2 (dated within the last three years)

* Happy to clean any areas needed.

* Has excellent organisation and time-management skills

* Able to use their own initiative and as work as part of a team

* Able to communicate/report any issues to the relevant people effectively

* Hard-working, and reliable.

* Has experience in a similar role or similar environment

* Reliable and punctual

Candidates will ideally hold an  enhanced DBS certificate o r be willing to obtain one prior to the role starting.
Roles available:
Worcester - Nursery Chef Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.
Redditch
- College Chef
- Monday to Thursday
