16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour.

21-year-old plus - £12.71 per hour

As a Sales Assistant, we want you to be:

• confident and approachable
• hardworking and ambitious
• caring and passionate

• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, prioritising customers over task and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points and actively promote addons by engaging effectively with customers.
• Handle and accept deliveries to store responsibly and safely, keeping up with the maintenance of stock room areas.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards.
• Work in your designated Tesco space as required.

Our stores are open seven days a week. On a 12-hour contract you will typically work 4-hour shifts over 3 days. Depending on store trading hours, you should have a flexible approach and a commitment to help the store operate. You may be required to work at any time of the day, including outside normal trading hours, especially at Christmas.
