Retail Assistant – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in George St, Worcester. This is a permanent part‑time role working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

• Pay depends on age:
  Ages 16‑20: £10.95 per hour;
  Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering assistance to pack and ensuring a positive farewell
• Handle stock carefully while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves
• Collaborate with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• A friendly, positive and hard‑working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do, from deliveries to till work to cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliability – you will be a key part of a small team that relies on you to perform at each shift
• Flexibility with shifts – you may be asked to cover slightly different hours when team members are on holiday, with rota planning three weeks in advance and consideration of outside commitments
