Commercial Account Executive – Howden

We are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. The role involves building rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to MD/CEO of large organisations, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

• Build rapport with new and existing clients across various levels.
• Secure new business and maintain long‑lasting relationships with B2B clients.
• Develop business through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings.
• Identify and explore new business opportunities to drive best outcomes for clients.
• Consult with clients, effectively question and listen, advise on products and solutions, and identify opportunities while finding a path to yes.

• Experience winning new business and building long lasting relationships with B2B clients.
• Passion for developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings.
• Tenacious and business‑curious mindset to identify and explore opportunities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, as each day presents new challenges.
• Consultative, active listening, strong questioning skills, and ability to fully understand client requirements and advise on products.
