Experienced Fostering and Kindship Social Worker needed for our team in Worcestershire paying £34.78 ph!

Worcestershire is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering and Kinship Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families across Worcestershire.

You’ll be part of a supportive and progressive team, delivering high-quality services that ensure the best outcomes for looked-after children, foster carers, and kinship families.

• Undertake assessments, supervision, and support of foster carers and kinship carers.
• Complete viability, Form F, and Special Guardianship assessments.
• Work collaboratively with children, families, and professionals to deliver positive, safe, and sustainable care arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, council policies, and best practice standards.
• Contribute to team development and participate in training and reflective supervision.

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Substantial post-qualifying experience in fostering, kinship, or children’s social care.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a commitment to child-centred practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
