About the role
Our nationwide Tanker Services division delivers a wide range of waste management and environmental services, supporting everyone from small portable toilet operations through to major industrial and infrastructure projects, including septic tanks and large‑scale liquid waste solutions. With customers located across the UK, no two days are ever the same.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and professional HGV Driver looking to take the next step in their career within a fast‑paced and growing business.
As a Regional Tanker Driver, you will play a key role supporting operations across your region. Working from your home depot, you will travel where additional support is required, including covering sickness, holidays, peak demand periods and specialist projects. The role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple sites and customer environments.
You will be responsible for the safe removal of liquid waste from customer sites and the delivery of non‑potable water, ensuring all work is completed in line with environmental legislation, company procedures and Health & Safety standards. In addition, you will support and mentor existing Tanker Drivers, sharing best practice and helping maintain the highest operational standards across the business.
ResponsibilitiesProvide safe removal of liquid waste and delivery of non‑potable water, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company procedures and Health & Safety standards. Travel from your home depot to support operations, covering sickness, holidays, peak demand periods and specialist projects. Offer support and mentorship to other Tanker Drivers, sharing best practice and maintaining operational excellence. Provide a company vehicle and fuel card, and be prepared for occasional overnight stays in remote locations.
AboutYou
- Significant experience working within an HGV driving role
- Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and a valid Digital Tachograph card
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and the ability to work safely and compliantly at all times
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to support multiple depots and operational teams across the region
