We are recruiting Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who want consistent work, overtime opportunities and the chance to move into a permanent position.

Newly qualified Class 2 drivers are encouraged to apply.

• £14.13 per hour
• Tuesday to Friday
• 06:45 - 16:30
• 4-day working week
• Overtime available
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Regular and ongoing work
• Immediate opportunities available

You’ll be working as part of a crew completing scheduled refuse and recycling collections.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Following planned collection routes
• Working alongside refuse loaders and crew members
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
• Reporting any vehicle defects or issues
• Completing required paperwork
• Following all site, road safety and health & safety procedures
• Delivering a professional service when dealing with the public

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A safe and responsible approach to driving
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working in an outdoor and physically active environment

Previous refuse or waste experience would be useful, but it is not essential
