Yourduties and responsibilities will be
- Play a key role in shaping the financial success of a landmark nuclear infrastructure project.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering packages, analysing drawings and specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop competitive bids, and identifying cost risks and opportunities.
- Support tender presentations and client negotiations, maintaining estimating databases to ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator on major infrastructure projects (£50m+).
- Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and UK construction cost frameworks.
- A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or related discipline.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectors.
- Familiarity with estimating software and digital cost management tools.
- Background in civil engineering and reinforced concrete structures.
