General Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Humly is recruiting a General Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a temporary basis.
This is a part‑time/full‑time role. This role would suit an enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistant who is confident supporting pupils across a range of year groups and can adapt to the needs of different classes.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support classroom teachers in the delivery of lessons across multiple year groups
- Assist with small group and one‑to‑one interventions to reinforce learning
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Support pupils with special educational needs and additional learning requirements
- Supervise pupils during activities, breaks, and lunchtime as required
- Contribute to classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources
- Experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school environment
- Ability to support pupils across different ages and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching staff
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection
- Relevant qualifications or training in education support roles desirable
£13.70 per hour
