Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), or Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking for your next opportunity? Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist healthcare provider for experienced Registered Nurses to join the team in Workington. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing outstanding care to individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.

Days: 07:45 - 20:05 | Nights: 19:45 - 08:05

Contract:

Flexible Agency Shifts Available Pay Rates: £23.88 - £26.44 per hour PAYE (Inclusive of Holiday Pay) (equivalent to £21.30 - £23.60 per hour PAYE Exclusive of Holiday Pay)

The Role
  • As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care while supporting recovery and promoting independence for service users.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    Delivering safe, effective and person-centred nursing care. Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual care plans. Administering medication in accordance with NMC guidelines. Monitoring, recording and reporting changes in service users  physical and mental health. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Supporting and mentoring junior staff where appropriate. Promoting a positive, therapeutic environment focused on recovery and wellbeing. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

The service is a specialist inpatient service supporting adults with continuing challenging behaviours and complex support needs. The service provides structured, therapeutic care in the least restrictive environment possible, helping individuals develop independence, build life skills and access education, employment and community opportunities wherever possible. You ll be joining a dedicated team committed to delivering recovery-focused care that enables service users to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Requirements
  • To be considered, you will need:
    Registered Nurse qualification (RMN, RNLD or RGN) Current NMC registration Previous UK nursing experience within mental health, learning disabilities or similar settings Excellent communication and teamwork skills A compassionate, patient-centred approach Strong clinical decision-making and organisational skills A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
