- Undertake comprehensive assessments in line with the Children Act 1989 and up-to-date guidance on safeguarding children
- Prepare and present high-quality reports for court proceedings, case conferences, and statutory reviews
- Develop, implement, and regularly review outcome-focused care and protection plans
- Collaborate effectively with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and promote safeguarding for children
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Must be registered with Social Work England
- Solid knowledge of Children Act 1989/2004, Care Planning Regulations, and Working Together to Safeguard Children
- Strong understanding of the Public Law Outline (PLO) and court processes
