What you will do:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and ongoing pre/post proceedings work
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments in line with the Children Act 1989 and up-to-date guidance on safeguarding children
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports for court proceedings, case conferences, and statutory reviews
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review outcome-focused care and protection plans
  • Collaborate effectively with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and promote safeguarding for children
Person Specification

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent recognised qualification)
Registration & Compliance:
  • Must be registered with Social Work England
  • Solid knowledge of Children Act 1989/2004, Care Planning Regulations, and Working Together to Safeguard Children
  • Strong understanding of the Public Law Outline (PLO) and court processes
